Sketchbook Series
(2023 / 2024)
In this 2023-2024 sketchbook series, I focused on drawing from life, applying the technical skills I developed in previous years—perspective, anatomy, 3D rendering—in order to capture movement and depth.
Many of these drawings come from moments of stillness (waiting in line, sitting in a cafe, etc). In an effort to disconnect myself from the constant hum of social media, I turned to drawing as a more fulfilling, productive, and peaceful pastime.
In my 2021-2022 sketchbook series, I focused on refining technical skills through perspective—working in 1, 2, 3, and 5-point perspective to bring depth and structure to my drawings. I also explored machinery, robotics, architectural forms, and conceptual designs, aiming to capture complex spatial relationships with accuracy.
